Lyric video concept - Blockstar by chxrry

After discovering this singer, and really loving her aesthetic on IG, especially her new album, I wanted to create a lyric video concept for one of her songs, “Blockstar,” from her album “U, Me & My Ego” (the songs are 🤌🏻 No skip). I used the music video she posted on YouTube, and I hand-drew the lyrics myself using paint and Posca markers, which I then scanned and edited in Photoshop before compositing everything in After Effects with the video footage of her.
