Dakota Johnson
x Calvin Klein
Advertisements Projects
Concept for an advertising design, credits to the Calvin Klein brand
The collaboration between Calvin Klein and Dakota Johnson is a joint exploration of “modern minimalism.”
The goal: to translate Dakota’s enigmatic, cinematic presence on screen into a series of still images that feel like “stolen moments".
What drew me to this project was the opportunity to explore “the power of the gaze.” Dakota Johnson possesses a unique ability to convey depth with very little movement. By focusing on a naturalistic, almost documentary-style aesthetic, we’re creating a campaign that feels more like a character study than a traditional advertisement. It’s a celebration of quiet confidence.
